ELEMENTARY STUDENTS (Grades 5 & 6)

Protective Cases

The original protective case was provided by the MPS Technology Department and is not covered by the Device Protection Plan (DPP). If damaged, parents/guardians may purchase a replacement case from a place of their choosing or purchase one at a substantial discount from our MPS Technology Department. The case we offer is the Dell Chromebook 11 3100 Clamshell Hardshell Case | UZBL - UZBL at a discounted price of only $20. To order at the discounted rate, you must come to the MPS Technology Center. MPS Technology Center contact information is at the close of this document.

Device Protection Plan (DPP) DEADLINE TO PURCHASE FOR 21-22 SCHOOL YEAR IS 6/30/22

All students assigned an MPS:1 device are eligible for the Device Protection Plan. The cost of the plan is based on free/reduced lunch status. If you haven’t already completed the On Line Free and Reduced Meal Application, you may do so at http://lunchapp.mooreschools.com/. The DPP will greatly help offset cost of repair or replacement. Please visit Device Protection Plan (DPP) for more information on what is/is not covered and how to purchase the plan for the 2021-2022 school year. If your student is currently in 5th grade, please see our Path to Ownership (PTO) below.

The Path to Ownership (PTO) allows 5th grade students who participate in the Device Protection Plan (DPP) through their 8th grade year to take ownership of the device upon completing 8th grade. You must renew the DPP each year (total of 4 years) to complete the path and take ownership of the device.
